From Crisis to Calling
My passion for security began in 2013 as a student at UMass Dartmouth, when the Boston Marathon bombing turned our campus into the center of a federal manhunt. Seeing firsthand how institutions operate under pressure shaped my commitment to protecting others.
I left school to join the U.S. Marine Corps, where I was selected for the Presidential Security Program—an honor given to fewer than 100 Marines each year. I went on to lead security operations for the White House Communications Agency, Marine Security Force, supporting over 50 armed Presidential missions and managing a 100-person security unit responsible for global security operations and response.
After my military service, I became Director of Personnel Security at the National Archives, overseeing security operations across more than 40 national offices and leading a comprehensive overhaul of the agency’s security posture. Today, as Director of Security at a major research institution, museum, and rare book library in Washington, D.C., I’ve built enterprise security programs from the ground up—protecting people, collections, and continuity.

My Vision
Security is my passion. I realized there’s a large portion of small to midsized—and even large—nonprofits where a full-time security team isn’t feasible, and large consulting firms don’t fit their needs. I’ve seen too much tragedy, violence, disaster, and insider threat that could have been prevented or mitigated with the right practice, policy, and infrastructure. People don’t realize the gaps until it’s too late.
My goal is to fill that gap—to help organizations be prepared and protect themselves before crisis strikes. Too often, nothing happens until it happens, and then it’s too late to recover. I want to make affordable, personal, and tailored security solutions so every organization can help themselves, protect their people, and focus on their mission.
